The service
FlipLedger is a free tool for logging resale transactions and estimating profit and a tax set-aside figure. It is provided by Girder Labs (England) as-is, without warranty of any kind. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
Not tax, legal, or financial advice
All figures — including fees, net profit, margins, and the tax set-aside — are estimates based on the numbers you enter and indicative platform fee rates that may be out of date. They are not advice. You are responsible for your own tax affairs; confirm your position with HMRC or a qualified adviser.
Your data, your device
Your log is stored on your device only (see Privacy). You are responsible for backing it up — clearing your browser or deleting the app deletes your data, and we cannot recover it.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, misrepresent its outputs as professional advice, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Girder Labs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of FlipLedger, including tax underpayment, data loss, or decisions made on the basis of its estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, which governs these terms.
